want my money back

Posted: Dec 11 2009 10:41 AM

Bidslammer has failed for me with no indication why on more than one important auction. I cannot trust it any longer. Please give me my money back.

Hello,

I reviewed our log files, and found that we did place the bid on time as promised. What happened is you did not meet the minimum bid increment. A lot of bidders don't understand why an equal or higher bid can miss.

Here is the research information you need.

Also we have some very helpful articles in the blog, specifically this article on bulletproofing your account, which reviews this topic as well as 19 other gotchas:

Thank you for taking the time to write in, if you have any other questions, please be sure to let us know.

Cheers,

Jay

I bid 191 on this and the auction close at 128:150394668830&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_500wt_1182">http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150394668830&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_500wt_1182

Bidslammer never bid on this. This happened this morning. I put money in my account last week also. Please refund my money.

Vinay,

We did bid. However, your ebay password appears to have been incorrect at the time of the bid. eBay returned no bidding form at all in response to our snipe.

Thank you for taking the time to write in, if you have any other questions, please be sure to let us know.

Cheers,

Jay

Well then wouldn't it be nice if you notify users? I'm a software engineer myself and your software does not say anything about what happened.

Hello,

It does notify you if it is incorrect at the time of adding.

As far as adding error messages, there are over 50 of them to stay on top of and they change a lot. See that 'bulletproof' article above.
