I checked our log files and found an odd error message from eBay. Here was their response when the snipe was placed:

Sorry, we are experiencing a technical problem. Please click the Back button of your browser and try again. "





We haven't seen that error message before so our system didn't know how to handle it, and decided you were the winner as your bid was higher. Unfortunately that was not the case. I credited your account for that snipe.
