Snipe Failure Again

Posted: Jun 01 2014 08:14 PM

My faith in BidSlammer has been betrayed too many times.

Hello,

We have never missed any of your snipes. We did place the snipes but eBay returned a dialog asking you to improve your password.

Please refer to the message posted here:

My eBay password was already changed and accepted previously.

I have prior snipe failures. The previous records that were shown are no longer visible.

Here's what it already had stated about the password on "My eBay"...

debrael, you have successfully reset your password.

eBay is not requesting that you take any further action at this time.

Debrael,

You appear to have changed it at eBay but not updated it at our site. We rely on you updating your password at our site to snipe otherwise it won't work.

All snipe services are inundated daily by questions about why snipes did not go through and it is almost always one of the 30+ reasons on this list,

If you have not entirely familiar with all of the messages, you can use this "bulletproofing checklist" before each snipe so that you win more auctions:

I do not even see a change password option on the category headings of the bidslammer site. Why was $ subtracted from the amount in my account when there was not a bid made for me on this last failed snipe we are discussing? I noticed that the amount in my account prior to these questions yesterday was $20+, now it is $16.

Hello,

Sorry about that. Yes, I apologize because I have heard from others that they could not see the link. We are testing this now on other versions of internet explorer.

Here is the direct link to your preferences that you requested:

Thank you for taking the time to ask. The eBay hack issue caused a lot of confusion this week as they kept it secret for some time. I'll check on your other question to look for anything unusual, the sniper tallies all the snipe balances monthly.

Money was subtracted from my account for a failed snipe. Please make remedy to put the funds back now. Every time I've tried to update the eBay password that I have now, the bidslammer page at the address provided above, will not accept it and keeps the old one.

Hello,

Try to update your password now, just make sure it is the same working password at eBay. On a rare occasion someone does check it at eBay and turned out to be wrong. I am still checking on the other issue (the sniper tallies all the snipe balances monthly).

My eBay password had been changed previously as stated and the bidslammer failed snipe was a huge disappointment. Added to that funds were subtracted from my account for the failed snipe.

Above the admin stated that he/she is checking the balance to determine the cause of that issue yet there has not been follow up or remedy to return the funds to my account.

This was all already handled, please clear your browser cache. Also this post will address your concerns: http://bidslammer.com/blog/ .

However the subtracted funds that should not have been taken

have not been replaced to my account.

Don't worry, rest assured I did check and it was the same balance as it was last week. For some snipes we deduct just a temporary reserve until the snipe fires. Like a temporary credit card purchase where the balance goes back if you did not actually purchase anything. :-)
