Hello,

my mothertongue is German, if you are still

loking for a beta tester/ translator and designer for the german version, please send me an email. [edited]

I reckon the design of your logo and the look of the page really needs improvement.

regards,

Alex

Hello,

Greetings! I enjoyed your message as it definitely sounds like something my German friends would say. You are correct! The only snipe service that has a good home page is maybe e-snipe.

I see you don't use the service too much, if you are a power user we can offer more trade, but if you would like $20, perhaps you can spot check the home page and a few other pages.

Just take 5 minutes look at this and tell me if you think, yes or no, this is a good translation. The new site is here ]click here

The question on the table: Is this worth paying for? I need your candid opinion.

Do you know how to show the German character set in my browser? I see only the question mark, where the special characters should be.

Is that not the most awesome message he wrote.

Makes me pretty excited to get this new site released...

Ausgangsposition for HOME is uncool sounds like sports or military. best use Home

warum snipe? better: warum snipen? (Germans use a lot of eglish verbs and then add the german ending)

here again as HTML

Thanks so far, this is great, thank you.

Also I wonder if "Auktion sniper" is better than "auction sniper"

Enclosed : a picture of how I see it in my browser.

I think he did translate the characters correctly, they

look ok in the source file. Just not right in my browser.

Hi,

Thanks for the help. I doubled your last purchase just to say thank you. let us know if you ever see any other problems with it, once we release the site. Thanks!

I fixed the characters. The problem was I had to include a "meta" tag in HTML to use the latin-1 character set.

Posted Mar 30 2009 05:16 pm by Your Friendly BidSlammer Admin

Hello,

as for "Auktion sniper" vs "auction sniper":

first option has the wrong grammtical ending,

the second is "too english".

I recommend "Auktionen-sniper"

or even better "Auktions-sniper"

If sniper would be a german word you would offially write it

in one word: "Auktionssniper"

---

Just for info sniper = Scharfschuetze (sharp-shooter)

cheers,

s

Hello,

cool, thanks...

just read the (well translated) testimonials section:

here 2 important improvements:

MAIL 1:

"Du liebe Güte!! Ich kann es nicht glauben - ich habe tatsächlich einen sehr begehrten Artikel gewonnen....

MAIL 2:

Habe $ 50 bei Sachen für meine Harley Road Glide gespart

„Ich habe mehrmals versucht, auf eBay etwas für meine Harley Road Glide zu kaufen...

cheers s

Hello,

just realized that I can't snipe on German Ebay anymore.

When are you going to switch it on again?

best,

s

Hello,

What do you mean, cannot snipe on eBay Germany?

I'm not sure: But I think you need to enter the item number in the US site, to see if it is offered in eBay US.

Just trying to figure out what is going on, since we did not change anything. ;-) An item number would help, I can try to reproduce the problem.

Posted Apr 03 2009 01:42 am by Your Friendly BidSlammer Admin

Hello,

None of the item number from ebay.de work

try this one for example:

190297217704

I am not logged in to ebay or anything else...

BidSlammer message is:

We cannot add a snipe for item #190297217704.

The auction has ended, or the item number is invalid.

Even tried typing it in digit by digit....no luck

All UK item numbers work.

regards,

s

I think in order to snipe a Germany item it must be available on the US site as well. I believe that seller only made it available on eBay Germany.

If you feel this is wrong let me know ASAP. I do not have any other complaints but things always are changing at eBay.
