Can't log-in. My email IS my EBAY user ID. If I ever changed the ID for Bidslammer I don't remember it. Maybe the password is the issue, but when I sign in I am sent thru the picture ID process, then an EBAY confirmation page, and only after all that it says can't verify because it looks like 2 accounts. This can't be that hard to fix, can it? Will you please help? Thank you, Richard Dorsey

When you log in to eBay, go to the "My eBay" link at the upper right. This takes you to "Seller Hub." To the right of the phrase "Seller Hub" in the large title font, your eBay userid should be listed.
What is listed to the right of "Seller Hub?"

Thank you for your help. After clicking on "My Ebay" I don't see anything titled "Seller Hub", neither in the "classic"eBay layout or the "new"layout. There is, under "Selling", account information and a line entry with userid "wyattsulgrave". Is this is the eBay userid you are getting me to identify? In a recent email to Bidslammer I mentioned trying this userid but was rejected. However, to confirm, this is the name buyers and sellers see when dealing with me, "wyattsulgrave", correct? I tried to log-in just now with "wyattsulgrave" and was rejected. Should I reset the password? Is that the next step? Thank you again. I'm hoping to buy something I've been looking about a year for now and it ends in two days.

Hello, again. It is not resolved. I would write and state so. Coincidentally, the bid to which you refer was placed July 17, 2017, not today. My question stands: If, as it seems, you mean me to use Ebay USERID "wyattsulgrave" (which, if the world can see this, why is it more secure than an email address? Neither seem good choices) should I now reset the password? What are my avenues to fix this?

P.S. I am adding this to the note I sent earlier today, July 17, 2018. I attempted to "Reset Password" and got this message, the same message as when this all started: "It appears that our mail-password utility send you an invalid link. Usually this is because you had more than one account with us for some reason." DOn't know what that means. Help...

In any case, it appears you have two userid's; one for the userid you used long ago when you signed up in 2005, and then another when you used your email to sign up last year. We deleted the one based on email. Try again using your current eBay ID starting with 'w'. If this doesn't work then we probably won't be able to get it going, but it is worth a try.

Thank you. I have tried several times without success with userid "wyattsulgrave", the Ebay ID. I am not certain of the associated password with that ID. I tried without success to reset the password. You ask how I was able to place a bid last year for the Ebay auction? In my book of all my ID's and passwords I have written that Bidslammer is using what I use for Ebay. My Userid for Ebay and, I thought, Bidslammer as my email. Are you saying that this cannot be fixed? Can't I close the account and start a new account? In that case I would need to know how to close it. I didn't notice it on the web page. If it can't be fixed I would like to close the account, please. If you have no other suggestion let's close it, okay?
