"eBay Authorization required. Please visit your bidslammer Preferences to update your Authorization." I keep getting the above message when trying to enter a snipe and I can't figure out how to do the updaqte on ebay.

I checked the log so I could do a manual update, but I couldn't find anything for "candiedpig." (That is a good userid, by the way. :) ) Would you mind trying to authorize again? The issue is that eBay assigns a "token" to your eBay ID that we didn't start storing until March 20, so we have to match it up manually to legacy accounts.
Please try to re-authorize again and let us know. We'll watch for your reply to get you going ASAP.

I have no idea what "candiedpig" is. That is not a name or ID that I have ever used. My user ID on ebay is "btrrw."

I have talked to ebay again. They say they can't fix it because they don;t know anything about Bidslammer, and they show no authorization for it on their records. However, I last successfully used Bidslammer 22 days ago so it was after March 20. Ebay suggested creating a new account, but I have a little bit of credit left on my account with you guys. Two other things trouble me. As I said earlier, I have never used the ID "candiedpig" and I am concerned that someone has accessed my account and perhaps my credit card info. I check those things carefully and have seen no evidence that has happened other than your reference to candiedpig. If I create a new account, will my current credit be transferred over? Thanks.

Okay, I tried working thought it one more time and found a page that allowed me to successfully update it. I guess if you beat your head against a wall long enough you will finally break through, albeit with significant injury to patience and disposition. All seems to be well again, and if I read your message correctly, the reference to "candiedpig" was just a mistake. If you can just confirm that for me, I will leave you alone. Thanks.

All of the error messages say BidSlammer Preferences, and the error at the top had a link right to it. We will improve the error if you can offer a suggestion. Yes, the reference to the other id was an error.
