I have been outbid several time lately against bid that came in 1 second before end of auction. I understand the they won because they offered more. I am just curious to know how come there were so many bidders after me , I bid 4 seconds before. some bid 2 seconds and 1 second before auction end. how is this possible? I thought you guys offered the best service.

Thank you for your question about your snipes. I reviewed your snipes. Don't forget about eBay's proxy bid system.

What are you seeing is not manual bids, but proxy bids that were already placed hours or even days before your snipe.

When we snipe, if another user has a proxy bid waiting, then eBay bids for them. The difference with sniping is that no one knows of your interest.

I suggestion using no less than 5 seconds. In the event of a tie you want your bid to come in first.
