I placed a bid this morning but it didn't go through and I missed out on the item, can you tell me why it didn't place the bid?

Thank you for your question about these snipes. There's a message posted. We had to do an emergency database reboot and a few snipes were missed. I added an extra month to your subscription for the inconvenience.
