This past Sunday, I had a bid in place for eBay item #111946979214 for $650.00. About 30 seconds before the end, I changed the bid to $600.00. To my surprise, the original bid did go through and I was charged accordingly. Not sure why this did not update. I actually paid $36.00 more than I wanted to for the item, plus the $5.00 from Bidlammer. Thanks for looking into it.

We checked the logs for item 111946979214, it shows that we did check for a bid change right at 2016-03-27 16:31:50, about one second before we placed the snipe. Our system does account for any update up to 1 second before the snipe is placed.

Generally if we receive a report of this, it means that the page with the snipe info was left open until after the snipe fired. We refresh your home page every 3 minutes to try to avoid this, but ultimately to change a snipe value, it's best to perform a refresh-page action immediately before you make the snipe change.
