I set up a snipe and it said everything was all set, and now it says error - authorization expired - but when I go to Preferences, authorization is current. I lost an item I really wanted, and there was no warning there might be any issue! That's really unacceptable!

We looked in our logs to see what we encountered when we placed your bid. eBay returned a message that indicates you have not given them enough information to bid on eBay. The error was: "Access Level Upgrade Required - In order to proceed, please provide additional details about yourself. Go to ebay.com/up."
Apparently your eBay account is new and you need to give them additional information to be able to place bids. We cannot bid on your behalf until that issue is resolved.
