I want to try the free service, but it keeps saying time to renew and tries to charge me. Thank you for your help.

Thank you for your question about subscribing. Our terms with PowerSnipe is to fulfill the term you paid at PS and then prompt you to pay for the next term. We'd have to re-program the system to fulfill your request, but we want you as a customer. So we will agree to refund your payment within 30 days of purchase. This is a firm commitment from us. The feedback we have is that PS users are really enjoying the software.
Please let us know if this proposal is acceptable. Otherwise we'd have to do a hotfix or something like that.

I really really don't want to purchase premium service at this time. I don't use the snipping service like I used to. I would like to utilize the free service for now and upgrade later if my needs change.

Unfortunately, the terms with PowerSnipe are for us to honor the rest of their subscription and then go right to the re-subscribe page. If we remove that affiliation, you wouldn't get the discount. The best solution is just to extend your subscription a month.
So you should see the full service enabled for the next 30 days. Good luck sniping!
