We responded to your initial post, but will also respond here. Yes, we can cancel and refund you, but first, we'd like to explain that we investigated to see what we encountered when you placed your bid.
It appears that you were trying to add a snipe for an auction that had already ended.
As a side note, in our experience, the comment "nothing but problems with sniping services" almost always indicates some kind of set up or configuration issue. It may help if we explain that there are some circumstances we can't catch until we place the bid. Sellers can set fairly strict preferences in regard to which buyers from whom they will accept bids. Many of them are are considered private and not disclosed to us.
