Why Was My Token Revoked?

Your eBay authorization (token) allows BidSlammer to place bids on your behalf. When this authorization expires or is revoked, your snipes will fail until you reauthorize.

Common reasons your authorization may have been revoked:

  1. You changed your eBay password, which automatically invalidates existing tokens.
  2. The authorization naturally expired (tokens have a set lifespan).
  3. You manually revoked access through eBay's security settings.
  4. eBay's security systems revoked the token due to suspicious activity or policy updates.

NOTE: We cannot know the specific reason why an authorization was revoked. eBay doesn't disclose privacy-related information to third parties.

To fix this issue:

Reauthorize BidSlammer by visiting your Preferences page and clicking the "Authorize with eBay" button.

To prevent future issues:

We automatically check your authorization every 8 hours during the 2 days before each snipe. If we detect a problem, we'll email you so you can reauthorize before your auction ends.

If you experience repeated authorization problems, check your Third-Party Access settings at eBay to verify access was granted correctly.
